Default injectors

ok, I believe I have peak and hold injectors (96 Lude). I want to upgrade to some 750's but want to know if I can not use the resistor box and go with saturated injectors, or should I spend twice the money and get the peak and hold injectors?

750 cc saturated from RC = $98 a peice.

750 cc Peak and Hold = $180 a peice..

so can i use saturated and what would be the process to use them?

96 lude = OBD2 = Saturated injectors = no resistor box. So, buy some saturated injectors, install and don't worry about it. Nothing to it.

Pirate.

EDIT: I am full of hsit don't listen to me. heheh

I'm sure they are working fine, but 240cc injectors on a built turbo set-up is probably not a good idea

Mike, I believe all you have to do is remove the resistor box and wire the injectors without it. I'm not 100% sure though. I know there is info on it in the archives.

Oops, sorry news to me... I guess I was thinking of the 97-01 ludes. But AndyD is right. You can just rewire the harness without the resistor box and use saturated injectors. Look at it this way: no resistor box is less weight to have. *attempt at saving face*

*edit* I looked in my OBD1 helms manual and you just take the 4 red/black wires from the injectors and connect them to the Yellow/black ground going into the Resistor pack. So basically disconnect the resistor pack and cut off the connector and strip the wires and solder them back together and plug the modified plug back into the harness. And then you can run saturated injectors.
