I'd try out the solo and take other people's word for it. They say it shifts just as smooth as stock, but just shorter.

Plus, lots of people can't get the B&M shifter installed to the point where it doesn't rattle. Let me just say that it takes a lot of tightening...no more rattle.

Man, I really like the DC2 shifter. Think I could just slap one into my car?

I had a solo in my civic si and it felt like the stock shifter just a bit shorter. Real nice and crisp throws. I heard that C's shifters are excellent so I may buy one for my teg. Real pricey though!

Buy a MOMO shift ****. They don't utilize the threaded end. It's held on by 3 hex screws. Except for the occasional re-tightening of the screws I really like the MOMO *****. I have the Short Anatomic myself.

That is, unless you have a 2nd gen ls, MAN did that $hit suck. Either chop half of it off or get a SS.
