what do use to plugg up the holes when you move the side moldings?
Don't use bondo with out re-inforcement underneath.
When the shop did mine they welded metal squares underneath then smoothed over with bondo. Other wise the bondo will eventually sag in.

dont use bondo...use the better stuff...mahr glass...a lot stronger than bondo...yeah and make sure the underside is reinforced
reinforced with what? i saw a thread when this guy used electrical tape underneath to reinforce the holes on his trunk but besides welding little squares in what other options do you have?

Are you basically saying you want to do it yourself on a budget with materials from Home depot?
It sounds like it, and if you are then you are best leaving them on. The final outcome will look like you did it and won't last at all. Thats why body shops charge a bit more as it is a time consuming process. Unless you can tac weld then try it, other wise leave it to the professionals.
