(92 hatcback)..when i turn on my car it makes an idling sound but real loud like ungh..ungh ..ungh till the enging warms up. i was wondering if anyone has had this problem.

its sohc engine with an eclipse turbo. i was thinking maybe the (eclipse o2 sensor )has something to do with it.????

 

uhhh what's your RPM reading when you first start your car at idle? Mine's like that too but it sure is normal when it hasnt reached normal operating temperature. My bro's DSM is like that as well.
