Default knocking noise from engine

my engine started making this knocking noise like my exhaust is banging onto something or one of the mount is loose. it's like a metal on metal noise. The higher the rpm goes the faster it gets. The noise is gettin worst as the car is driven. within 10 min it started from little noise to loud banging noise. I'm almost positive it's internal noises but my idle is fine. I shut down the car and restarted it an hr later and the idle was fine, it would start up at 1400 then drop to normal idle at 1000 rpm but the noise is very loud and it sounds like somethin is wrong with the rods?? I'm not sure. Does anyone have any suggestions to what this noise might be?

ps: I had my engine rebuild back to stock around a month ago. pistons, valves, rod bearings, it was running fine for about one month until this happened.

I also have a JRSC at stock 6psi. it was still racing boost when my car was making those loud noises. the tone of the beating would change as the rpm changes up and down.

Kamin is right. Don't run that car. I can't say what's going on with the car, but it doesn't sound good. Metal to metal banging noise... It could be a lot of things, like thrown rod.

there's no smoke from the exhaust so it can't be the head gasket right?

if I throw a rod or spun a rod bearing, I shouldn't be able to start up the car right?

if I have bent valves then my car should idle funny and would stall, but the car idles fine, it's only the loud noises almost sounding like a disel engine.
