Im about ready to buy a neuspeed front mount intercooler intake... i was wondering if thats a pretty good intake or is it not worth the money and just for looks...please let me know i wanted to order up some stuff tonight...thanks...

 

Well basically it's just a looks thing. If you want to just fool people than get it but its useless. Just don't pop open your hood to anyone. I just like going with simple CAI like AEM or Iceman I like the best. They give me good mid-to-top range power.

Yeah, definitely just for the looks. This is the one where it looks like an intercooler, but is just an intake system, right?

There will probably be a plastic shield over the filter portion, which will actually block incoming cold air. Kinda reduces the point, don't you think? Plus there is so much piping and not so much cold air going in...might actually lose power over the stock system.

Like everyone said, try going with an AEM style cold air intake. Just a regular one and you'll be much happier.

2nd wat he said, if yur gettin a intake, then go wit any cold air intakes, all the short ram intakes are about the same, weapon R is good for short ram. and y would u want to get the one tat looks like a intercooler, u just goin to get unwanted ppl tryin to race u, and made fun off, bc it just LOOKS GAY, LOL GET TURBO< AND STOP WASTIN YUR MONEY ON THESE LIL GAININ HP CRAP, lol jk, all the intake is for is SOUND when yur car hits Vtec. wat u see on there ads when there is all tat gain, is bc they say in smaaallllllll writin they put tis mod in or tis mod etc. . OKAY i just wnet off sorrie, but intakes are all the same if there short ram and for cold air intakes , the AEM, and some pll like ICEMAN, now Ingen comes out wit there line of intakes, pick wisly.
