its cold air intake, but does anyone know what brand this is? anyone that maybe has bought it? any thoughts?

looks like a generic CAI to me, if its a 3" - then its like the Tenzo[R] intakes. If its smaller (2.5") then its a AEM-style replica, not a bad price tho. hth

It looks like a cheapy AEM replica.... If you really want one, I can get you a CP engineering intake (chrome, CAI, AEM spec) for like 75$ + ship but I dont recommend it. Just think, all that cool air you're pulling in gets a nice heat treatment from the easily heated chrome aluminum piping in your engine bay, and by the time it hits your throttle body it's as hot if not hotter than it would be with your factory intake system. Now, I might flow better but heat is the key here, not sound.

AEM Cold Air systems utilize a ceramic coating on the outside of their tubing to prevent this from happening. IMO I would not waste the money on the cheapie, the fitment problems alone would be enough for me to not purchase a cheap look alike. IM me for a killer price on an AEM CAI if you really want one. GL
