newb ? about intakes
Ok i got my flame suit on and ready for this. I was searching around the web and i came across a Integra that had a AEM cold air intake. But did not have a Air filter on it. he had it hooked up to a 300ZX Innercooler. and just blocked off the inlet piping. Would this really work? would u expect more gains from this?

Re: (deepnite)
Are you saying he put the intercooler in-line, or he allowed the charge to run through the bars and plates of the intercooler and then capped the ends? I don't get it.

haha, no... where's the air going to come from? I guess it would work to cool the air, but there isn't enough air pressure to have an advantage to running a small intercooler on an N/A car.
