Default tranny problems

what up guys, well im driving up to my house and im just driving and i stop into a parking lot and i turn off the car, came back and i push in clutch to start the car and as soon as i take the clutch out it was making a small grinding noise from tranny so i was like damn, so i get back on the freeway and im about to shift into 5th and it wont go in all the way, it would barely go in and i would try to keep pressing in the clutch and it would grind in. so i figured that my 5th syncro is out. so i get to my house and now it would have alot of trouble going in all the gears. so i was like **** and im going 45 and it wont go into third or fourth, so i had to put it into 2nd, i acclerated a little and suddenly i hear a big loud sound from tranny followed by a loud grinding sound. i had just got a swap done and i towed it home and now it will dry shift but not into any other gear except 2nd. i put it into nuetral and turn on the car, i take out the clutch and its still in gear!! so i even shift into 3rd fourth and it will stay in 2nd, even reverse. please hellp sorry for long story go to get everything across, thanks
