distibutor ?
whats SOHC vtec distributor will bolt up to a d16y8 besides the y8's. i heard the z6's wont. im looking for an obd1 vtec distributor that will. im trying to convert to obd1 to run a vtec ecu. does it matter if its obd1 or obd2, cause if it doesnt matter i will just run the y8's. thanks
im pretty sure the obd1 d15b bolts right up, if not better than the d16z6 distributor. thats whut i can remember. but keep in mind that u can prettymuch use any obd1 distributor as long as u can adapt it somehow.
yea i found a company that makes adapter plugs for this situation, but does the distributor have to be from a vtec motor, or just any obd1 distributor.
thanks
thanks
Any OBD1 or OBD2 SOHC Vtec or non-Vtec distributor will bolt up to the Y8 head, except the D16Z6 distributor. Other than that, its just wiring and plugs.

I'm running a OBD-1 CX distributor on a Y8 head and a stock P28 ECU.
