Default 1999 civic si possible starter problem? where is it too?

i think my starters done with.. when i try to turn my car on, it trys to crank for 2 seconds then stops, then the worst clicking noise and my gauges like 'turn signals and ****' start seizuring while my car makes a loud clicky noise. i just wanna make sure, you think its my starter or something else? where is it located on my car? my friends 98 gs-t's is impossible to get to, and i heard 'lol idk if true' but if i can find my starter i heard if you hit it with a hammer ur car will at least start so you can get it to a shop or in my case 'outta a parking garage where its stuck' is this true? heh

yep check the grounds. Mine did the same thing, I even replaced the main relay before checking the ground.

yeah, there's most likely nothing wrong with your starter. Either you cables aren't making good connections or most likely you've still got the original battery and it's time for a new one. Batteries are good for usually 3 to 5 years and your on 5 if its the original.
