Uh...93 is fine. I don't think its your gas.

Yea I use 93 octane daily, and at the track i always use 100 octane. For some reason my jdm h22 seems to love that 100 octane. I recently had to put in 87 octane. No more 93 bc the damn hurricane. But it shouldnt make your car sound totally diffrent.
then i must have a dirty *** intake because i sprayed some intake cleaner and it ran fine for about 5 minutes and then it began to sound like a go-cart again..i know it cant be the dizzy or the wires..this engine has about 62,000 mile 100,000 km....it should be in good shape...what could be the problem?

93 is enough octane and should be fine, the jdm motor will like the more cause overseas they have quite a bit higher octane at the pump than us.... their tuning is based on the available quality fuel (they run more timing and whatnot generally).
