What happens when...
well when i bought my car it had a mini me swap done to on it... well i recently spun a rod bearing, and after pulling the head off i noticed that whoever did the swap never pulled the oil jet out of the block, i know you are supposed to remove it, but what effect is there when you don't?
"I forgot to pull the oil jet out the first time. You won’t get a code, your ECU will say your solenoid is fine and everything is working great but VTEC will not actually engage."

THe MSD switch may have something to do with it. The P28 activates the solenoid when certain variables are met. Coolant temp is warm enough, enough oil psi, etc.
The MSD switch just turns that bish on or off, regardless of temp etc. U see the lil green plug next to the vtec solenoid? Thats the oil psi sending unit for the P28.
