Gentlemen.

I was trying to sort out the disgusting stereo wiring this prelude 4th gen (i can't believe some people, this thing has had no less than 4 ISO connectors, wires stuck together with bluetack, taped up, lumps of solder everywhere..a real state).
I was back there, testing some of the wires to what was what, had the car at position 1 ( dash lights on phase ).

I was moving the wires, and the check engine light came back on.. and stayed on.
Turned car off, went to start again to see if the CEL would come back on and stay on.. and sure enough it has, and the fuel pump is no longer priming (clicking or anything). I think I have either blown a fuse, or perhaps disturbed the wiring of the ecu to the fuel pump relay?

Located the fuel pump relay, gave it a tap and re-tried.. nothing.
Checked all the underdash fuses ( read i had to check #14, but on mine that is cruise control)... which one is likely to have blown?

The wiring on the car is a real mess.
What should i be checking?
Car has been driven fine with no fuel problem since i have had it.

What colour wire is the signal wire from the ecu to fuel pump relay ( persume there is one)? What number is it on the ecu?

Will test power tommorow by shorting the Black Yellow wire going into Fuel Pump Relay.
Then jump black yellow wire with the yellow wire ( is it yellow green on the prelude too?) and see if fuel pump is ok,
but i think its a problem where i have disturbed a wire running from ecu to fuel pump relay.. are they any wires that go across the back of the centre console area?

What else can i be testing?

Managed to sort it out.
Fuse #4 had blown.

My Symptoms were : CEL staying on, fuel pump not coming online, no start

Check Wiring Diagram section E11 for fuel pump relay wiring.

Any got an idea if I can get a new stereo wiring loom cus the one in this is messy as hell?

hey.. that fuse keeps blowing out for me too.. how did you fix it?

if you jsut changed the fuse and it works..

hrm.. i might ahve a different problem.. mine keeps blowing out
