does anyone have problems with the tranny after getting hondata, like grinning noise from 2nd gear after 7700 rpm's going to 3rd anybody thanks...

 

Are you engaging the clutch completely before shifting?

Because if the clutch isn't fully engaged at such high rpm's then it will grind going in.

Made sure the clutch is to the floor before ripping second.

definately. why 7700?

 

i went to the dealers
before i have hondata done, for the same problem they told me the same bs they tell everybody else ''the transmission is ok no problems when i told then that it gring at 6800 rpm's the idiot told me ''why r u shifting at such high rpm's ? the car is not made 4 that!!! i want to punch the his lights out... anyway good luck to all and thanks... dealers suck!!

wow i think you should have walked the dealer guy to your car and showed him ur tach. and said "hey dumb *** look it goes to 9K"

 

Mine grinds without hondata if I try to speed shift. I just stick to granny shifting now.

 

i had my 3rd gear synchro go with only 8,000 miles on my car. took it to the dealership and they fixed it under warranty.
