yo guys, this intercooler too big?
I have a lude 4th gen H22A VTEC, closed deck. I am about to buy this intercooler, tis pretty big tho...here are the dimensions:
740x370x75 mil (length, height, width) or in inches that is:
29.6"x14.8"x3.5" that is not including end tanks, this is the core alone.
Will thios thing fit on my car? Is it too big for only 6 to 8 psi? what are ur thoughts?

well... I think that depends on whether you would like to keep your front bumper or not....
I'm not THAT familiar with 'ludes but I can't see any concievable way to fit that IC without a lot of cut-and-hack work on your front end.

pressure loss means you will be making your turbo boost 10 psi but only 8psi will make it through the intercooler into the engine.. makes your set up LESS effecient, makes your car spool up slower too, and makes less power..
in that case do you think I can cut some of the core away to reduce the size of the IC overall? it will be not too ahrd I think as the end tanks are not on, but will this affect the intercooler itself?
