Default Timing Belt Cover b20 vtec ?

Trying to figure out if you can use a timing belt cover on b20 vtec. (lower portion)I've been searching and everyone has a different opinion. Some say that you can't use a timing belt cover, some say that it has to be b20, some that it has to be gsr (BTW its a si head). Just wondering if anyone here has a timing belt cover on thier b20 vtec

I have an LSVTEC and I use a gsr timing cover on it. It all fit perfect. I think those blocks are all the same b18/20. I just don't know if the upper portion of a gsr would match the lower of a b20. Try it and find out. If you have the cover see if it fits. It's only a pulley and a couple belts.

I have two b20's and ls's and a gsr. The b20 cover is different unless someone changed the oil pump(Some take it off because the oil pump gear inside is the same one as a type r. Most people think the oil pumps are the same but the gear is wider in the b20 and type r). I just had to get a cover for the b20.
