Huge loss of power
okay guys and or gals i'm in need of some help.
i have my 89 hatch with a JDM D15b i am having a problem with it. i was comming home from work one day and all the sudden it had no power. It was very slow, like normaly after 3k it would pull hard all the way to redline and would rev very freely. now it stopped and dosent rev as good. it idle's perfect with no problems, i checked for compression its perfect in all 4 cyls. i put new cap, rotor, plugs and still no luck. it cant be the coil or the ignitor because i swapped dizzys off another one that works fine and still no luck. i also check timing and that checks in perfect. its just running like a dog. if anybody can help me out it would be greatly appreicated. thanks in advance

Get a fuel pressure gage and install on outlet of your fuel filter.

Yea, check your grounds, take a steel brush or some 80 grit sand paper and clean the surface. also take your heat shield off and see if you have some cracks on your Exaust manifold....one of my cars did the same thing...**** ticked reall bad like the valves were bent.....turned out to be as big crack. it was on a gsr and i couldnt figure out why i was runing 16's lol
okay heres a new update i took off the cat to have a look and it wasnt clogged. i am still stumped as to why its still funning so slow. it really strains to get above 6k which it used to do with ease. anymore input would be great
