Fuel Pump?------PLEASE HELP!!!
OK so I drive a 93 with a Built GSR which has been running excellent since day one, about a year ago. Out of nowhere a few of days ago I lost all power, almost as if it were not getting fuel or there is a "clog" in the intake or exhaust, neither of which happened to be the case. There is no check engine code, the valves have been adjusted, the fuel filter replaced, timing checked, compression tested pretty much everything checks out besides the fact that I do not have any power and I can't drive my car anymore. The only thing I have not really tried to check is my fuel pump because my car still drives and I've been told that the fuel pumps don't kinda work and kinda not They just work or they don't so my question is: is that the truth? and/or does anyone else have any ideas as to what may be causing my car to have the "beast-like" power of a geo metro?
Try cleanning you ITB. after a while my turbo gsr started running rough like it clog so I took out the ITB and there's a bunch of dirt n oil sticking to it. I clean it out, used a little Sea Foam (**** work great) and then do n oil change and everything was good again.
ITB = intake throttle body probably? only thing i could assume he'd be referring to that would have ANYTHING to do with the car's idle
