i bought a 89 civic hatch yesterday. the dumbass kid i bought it from had painted various interior pieces red and white. it has the gray and black interior. if anyone has gutted their car and has any interior pieces, please let me know what and how much. i greatly appreciate it. i need mostly the air vents, glove box, piece above the radio where the clock goes, and some more stuff i can't remember right now. thanks in advance.

Well, I don't know if it helps you, but I have lots of parts out of my gutted 90 CRX.

I know this isnt the best way...but for a temporary fix, you could always repaint the pieces black....

 

well marked i thought bout that. but some of the parts are missing where he had them out to paint and i didn't pick them up so i'm actually missing a couple pieces. but thanks for the help.

 

Well I am from the Detroit, MI area and I have a few '89 Si parts I want to sell.

I have, in good condition...

Si steering wheel
black back bench seat
sun visor w/mirror

All these are left over from my totaled '89 Si I had and I put them in my '90 DX hatch. I would prolly sell all three items for $75 if you pay the shipping. I have a digital camara so I could post some pics.

 

how much for just the steering wheel?? i don't need the rear seats mine is gonna be gutted in the rear. and could you post a pic of it?? thanks alot.

 

Well I will evaluate everything I have this weekend and take pictures of it. Then I will post it with the prices I want. I also have some Buddy club side skirts that have been test fitted, trimmed and primerd. They were my original skirts but before they actually put them on I decided to go with other side skirts. They are in great shape! I'll post pics of them primered also. You can see them fitted on my car on my " Hello from Detroit" thread.

Does the paint red and white paint look bad lol? i have my interior white and it looks ok but if you have some pieces white and some red sometimes it looks really bad

 

civicboy.......he did a good job painting the pieces i just don't like it. i guess if you like that kind of thing then it would be ok.

Hmm yeah i guess it just depends on what you like. ive seen some 4g hatches that look bad with painted interior and some that look good.............................If people want to paint the intierior they should do they whole thing so it all matches not just a few pieces here and there
