its pretty simple.. after you put the new dist. on just get a timing gun.

hook the timing gun up to the battery and to the #1 cyl. (furthest one from the dist.) then aim the gun at the crankshaft pulley and you can see 3 marks together and a single one by itself.

if your standing where the driver side fender is marks will look like this | | | |

left mark is adv. middle is reg. right is retard

all you need to do is move your dist. towards the firewall to adv. and towards the front of the car to retard.

simple as 1 2 3 (hopefully lol)

if your wondering what the single mark is for.. i think it was suppose to be for the cam gear or something.. not sure about that one.
