Whats going on guys I have a 1992 Si hatchback and im having a couple problems with the lights...

Problem - entire dash, corners, and tail lights will not light up. When i put my signals on, the corners work and the green arrows in the cluster work - When I put my foot on the brake my brake lights come on.

Its kinda weird - I've checked all my fuses and when all 4 headlight fuses are IN...the head lights go ON w/high beams when i switch it to OFF and reverse....I took one of the highbeam fuses out and the lights work normally.

Its really irritating that the dash and parking lights wont work - I'm not really good with wiring so any help will be greatly appreciated.

TTT....now when i start the car...put the ebrake down with headlights in OFF position - lights/high beams come on...

happens when i shut the car off but leave key in after EXACTLY 10 seconds also.

someone diagnose my problem!!!

 

sounds like a short or something in your parking light circuit.....had same problem w my old accord....wish i could help more...good luck

 

thats what I was thinking after I did more research on HT..

how would I tell/fix a short? I'm not all that great with electrical stuff

 

CHECK YOUR FUSES

 

TTT...had my father check out my wiring and he was able to fix the tail lights...

Problems still remaining - - -
Dash won't light up at all
When i release my E Brake my lights/highbeams turn on even when switch is in off position.

ANY HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!!!! i hate electrical problems

Get a DOVM or volt / ohm meter and start tracing the wires. check for shorts or opens.

This is not something that someone here can say Oh that wire. seriously,

get a hold of the wiring diagram for the cluster, Infact try this. check your dimmer module and see if its working.
