Someone help! Can't change the rear brake pads!
Ok, so here is what happend, a friend was changing the rear pads on my 93 Civic Si. We got the caliper off, and we removed the cap on the brake fluid. When we were using the clamp to compress the brake it wouldn't go in at all. And after a while, we tried pumping the brake, but didn't relize the clamp was off, and the brake shot out like an inch. Well, long story short, we cant get it to go in. It wont budge. Does anyone know why the brake wouldn't go back in!? My friend says the brake must be locked up somewhere else in the line.
Any thoughts?... someone please say you've got thoughts..

Your asking about the rears right? They have that X pattern on them for a reason. You screw them down instead of compressing them with a C clamp like the fronts.
you can't use a clamp to push the piston inwards. you need to use a pair of needle nose pliers or something similar to screw it back in. i'm pretty sure u have to turn the piston clockwise to get it to go in.
