dropping my steering column

Default dropping my steering column

need help guys i have no manual. i left them all at home and im away in college. i need to know how to drop the steering column on my 89 crx dx, is it a bitch. if any one has pics or can tell me where or ( how to do it) to look i would appreciate it thanks every one.

just unscrew all the plastic from around the column and get yourself on the floor. You'll see 2 bolts and 2 nuts that support the column in the center just above where the long rectangular "fuse" panel comes off. Once you drop that part all you have to do is remove the bolt all the way against the firewall that connects the column shaft to the steering RACK. It's a little U joint and IMO it's the hardest part of the process. Other than that it's easy. Just make sure you mark where your wheel was when you start and put it back to that position or you'll find yourself with a crooked wheel!
