Parking Brake light comes on and off

My parking brake light comes on and off as it chooses, but when I engage the brake it will come to be the brightest, while the glitches are more dim. Think its the switch? Where is it?

your brake fluid is low.

My fluid is full and my pads are good, the light comes on and off, but not as bright as when i engage the parking brake

The cap to the master cylinder resiviour float thing could be bad

float thing??
mine does this too. fluid is high, filter is clear. but i know i have effed up brakes cuz whoever owned it before is an *******, so... im getting new pads, rotors, and a brake line flush.
