Default help with fans

I just bought a 98 GSR and the fans are not working. If anyone has experience with this please email me at applepieyumyum@aol.com.

Do they never come on at all, even if you turn the A/C on? Neither one comes on? That's probably a fan relay problem. If they don't come on to cool the engine, but do come on w/ A/C, then it's probably a bad coolant temp switch (thermostat housing).

First thing to do is to chek the fuses, if they are good, then chek the relays(swich places with the good one) and see if it works. than disconnect the connector from the fans and try to jump them from the battery with a pair of jumper cables. (if fan won't come on than it means that they are bad ) another good thing to do is check the ground ...... Temp sensor usually dont go bad , but it won't hurt if you chek them too.
