Default Power window rolling up really slowly. How much is fixing this going to cost?

I've been putting it off for quite some time, but the truth is that my driver side power window motor is on its last legs. It rolls up slower than ever before and I think that it is on the verge of dying. I'm just afraid that if I choose to fix it, I'm going to end up being broke.

What exactly am I going to have to end up replacing and how much is all of this going to cost in parts?

Have you tried spraying a silicone lubricant in the tracks? I would try that first. Used motors usually run around $75, but new ones are probably $200.

i say check to see if the window is fully on the track. mine and my brothers cars both do this. i dont think it has anything to do with lubing the track more the misalignment of the window. ohhh yeah get used to it mine last for like 2-3 months max when i fix it. then it needs to be fixed again. from my understanding its a design flaw. search you will probably find many threads on this.

what he said . i had the same problem with my passenger window and it was off track. the only way i discovered is when it completely fell off track and wouldnt come up anymore, just would twitch in place.
