Strip out your trunk of the carpeting, tire, jack, etc. Take off door panels, rear seats, and passenger seat. Take out as much as you can. Remove the power steering and AC belts for a FEW extra hp.

if you want some power for the straight track, a 50shot will shave off some serious time

If you are in a hurry, and only want to do minor stuff, gut out the trunk ( tire/jack/panels) and don't fill the tank full of gas. Take a big **** right now, and don't eat untill you go to the track

Put on a NAAAWWWSSSS sticker on the side ... its good for at least 50hp to the ground

But seriously though... I personally wouldnt hit the drag strip with my accord unless I had some serious mechanical work or turbo... it would be embarrassing seeing 10s, 11s, 12s, 13s and 14s cars out there.. and then I would run high 15s to 16s

Accord isnt really a drag car unless you have quite a bit of money invested into it. Autocrossing is ok, just upgrade the suspension and have at it

But like the other folks mentioned, gut the car for less weight, remove the ps/ac belts for a little more power, throw in some race gas, and dont forget to take a dump before going to the drag strip.. you'll lose an extra 2-5 lbs easily
