Default silicone oil pan gasket??

when i put my block back together i used a napa oil pan gasket (rubber) and i also lined the rubber with silicone and now it seems like i have a leaky oil pan. I talk to my local honda dealer and he said it was because of the silicone, i have a hard time beleive that somthing that is made to seal would cause leaking.? has anyone ever heard of this?

pics later today...

You probably aligned it wrong, oil pan gaskets are a pain, you have to align them right on the dowels and make sure it lines up perfect, I know I had to re-seat mine several times before I got it to stay in place. You dont need RTV silicone for an oil pan gasket FYI
