Default JRSC w/VAFC=BIG problems!! HELP!!

ok, heres the deal....lets see what you think, i just had a JRSC installed on my 2000 prelude. AND a vafc, but for some reason, the vafc is screwing my car up BIGTIME, my rev limiter kicks in at 6600 rpms now, it bogs down really bad when i step on it. EVERYTHING is screwed up. something is messed up with the wiring. my shop disconnected it and my car ran great but the power wasn't there. it only dyno'd at 206 to the wheels...SHITTY!!! 179 @ the wheels before the supercharger, thats a lot of money for a 27 HP gain, whats going wrong?!?!?! they are saying my vtec controller is fighting the jackson racing ems and they can't figure a way to wire them both up without my car screwing up like i said earlier. i have an aem v2, dc headers, greddy evo exhaust, and a hollow cat. i think i am loosing HP from the hollow cat cause supercharger need some backpressure right?? HELP!!! tons of issues to figure out!!! has anyone had problems with vafc and jrsc.

try going to a different shop....or e-mail JR, they are usually pretty good at getting back to you, just takes a while.

k today, we unhooked the vtec controller and my car is running great but still feels like the power isn't there....they are still stumped why the vafc is doing that so they want me to drive it for a week or so without the vafc to "make sure thats whats going wrong" obviously!!!! it runs great now. i'm gonna run it a couple times tomorrow on the dyno and see what it does....we dynoed it with the vafc and it was 206, at like 6500rpm and then it died down. and thats where my car was having problems with the vafc installed. so we'll see what it does tomorrow. cross your fingers!!!

i would ditch the vafc and the jackson ems

and run hondata, you spent that much money on a supercharger,

why not have good engine management

x3, and to the original post, with ANY FI application, you want no backpressure, hollow cat is helping u, if u ditch the dc header and go with smsp or prospeed, u will see bigger gains...
