? for NOS people..How much NOS for my application?
I hvae CTR pistons with a GSR head milled 20. Compression is somewhere around 12.2-12.4:1 i believe.
I just want to be deep in the 12's and want to run a safe enough shot to do it.

with that high CR, go with a direct port system. You need about 4 degrees of timing retard. Be sure to get a window switch too.
*****!!!!!!!! sometimes i wish my compression wasn't this high.
how are these domestic guys running big shots of nos with over 12:1 compression.
damn.
what the hell is a window switch?

It is called tuning. NOS loves compression.
Tuning? Really? Like thanks for enlightening me to that..as if I didn't already know that.
everybody's telling me i'm gonna detonate cause of my compression which i agree . nitrous will boost my cylinder pressure high so I don't know how you came to the conclusion that it loves compression. I'm probably gonna have to get a bigger fuel pump, along with injectors.
Real Type R I may take you up on your offer.

When in doubt, go 2 jets richer on the fuel side. Better to foul a $8 set of plugs than melt a piston.

if you're that concerned, get a thicker heagasket to knock it down a point...you should be fine after that...an 80 or 100 shot from a direct port system should get you deep into the 12's on slicks...
When Mista Bone speaks I listen. Mista, Ive been reading your post for years and you have so much to share with us..

NOS is for babies its so easy to tune, the higher your CR the better it works, we had a Vette here making 800HP and then added progressive staged 500 shot, the car was around 14.5:1, that car makes jam. Always shoot for overkill on your fuel and good bottle pressure, then ground out your knock sensor and set your initial and total timing.
