#1 = coil like @ries said
#2 i believe is for the ATTS unit. looks like mine did. but if you dont have an SH then it explains why its not in use.

Well if it is for ATTS like they said, then honda does it to just "make it all simplier". Ok would it be cheaper and easier for honda to make 2 harnesses, one with that connector, and one without, or just put the same harness in both cars? The more "common parts" each car uses, the easier it is on Honda basically, during manufacturing. Or maybe it is for diagnostics??

Yup, Shakes is right! I just bought my JDM launchers off ebay and slapped them on, you just bolt them up and plug them in and you're ready to go!
