Default Check ENGINE light comes on, any suggestions

After swapping a sohc zc into a 89 civic si from a CRX, its running fine. its just after driving for 5-10 minutes the check engine light keeps coming on. Any help or suggestions. The knock sensor is in and the O2 sensor is connected too. Cant figure it out. Kinda afraid to run it hard untill I figure this out.

you never know, the sensors might be bad. The same thing happened to me earlier this year. Be driving for a few miles and the check engine light would come on. I'm sure someone has the chart of codes in here somewhere!

Go look at the ecu after the CEL comes on. Count how many times the red light blinks and then search for what that code means

Count like this:

Long blinks = count by 10
(3 long blinks would be 30)

Short blinks = count by 1
