What the highest amount you can lower your car before a camber kit is required?
I was looking at these H+R springs on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...33582
If I were to get the race version which lowers the car 2"+ Do I have to buy a camber kit or can I get an alignment of the wheels with more toe in?

So I suppose 2.2" for the front is pushin it since thats how much its lowered with the h+r setup. If I were to decide to get a camber kit how much would they run for and whats a good brand to look at?

Ingalls is a good brand but I can't remember how much I paid. Its been three years now and I think it was somewhere around $175. Don't quote me on it though, I can't really remember

ive got sportlines all around, (1.9" drop)...im not running a camber kit....but its noticable - camber both back and front, though noting too harsh (aka not mad tyte jdm dorifto camber)......i dont really care cause im running on granny tires right now (yokohama avid tourers),.......ingalls kits are known to be very loud, depending on the type of bushing you get......some kits require cutting of the inner fender to all for factory specs to be meet if the car is really low

Wow I never knew camber kits were so expensive. I may have to think twice about this one.......
How about these? http://www.airdynamicracing.co...?p=66
Is there really such a thing as cheap camber kits other than the ones on ebay. There not used for performance but to adjust the camber on the car so I dont know how one can be much better than the other?

you can get the cheaper ones, but they usually end up wearing out within about a year. Depending on how you drive. With a 2 to 2.5 inch drop, you are looking at camber angles of about 4 degrees negative. Which will cause the car to be really responsive cornering but will grab any ruts on the road hard. Also will destroy tires really fast. I also had to cut the inner fender wells out, because the upper control arm was sitting on them. Of course I have a one off custom built H&R spring. Nice that one of their manufacturing plants is about 5 min from my house. And they lowered my car about 3 inches. Less drop my not need the fender wells cut out.
what exactly wears out? the bushings? I was planning to drop it about 2" and no where near 3". I know what happens without a camber kit but I dont want to spend like $600 just on lowering my car. I suppose I can just get the eibach sportline springs and forget about the camber kit...
