When converting... what do you do with the stock 02 sensor wires? Just trace them out and cut them back?
Also: Can a get a quick Dizzy removal and reinstall writeup?
Thanks in advance

Stock O2 WIRE (no "s"... just one) is your O2 signal wire.
The other 3 wires for OBD-1 you have to add yourself (or should be supplied in any quality OBD-0 to OBD-1 jumper harness).

You sir is wrong. O2 wires for those of us that wired it for the stock 2 o2 sensors like myself.
The jumber actually gives you 4 wires to connect to the new OBD1 O2 sensor but you have to supply your own plug.
Jurassic Four I would just live it those OBD0 O2 wires along IMO. It would be much easier to just run the new wires out to the new OBD1 O2.
Sorry kind of off topic.
Maybe someone could tell me where is the best location to put the OBD1 O2 sensor??
The OBD1 B-series has it at the cat connection(which is where I was going to put mine), however I seen some put it right after DP flange. Since this is a heated O2 I thought it would not be a good idea to do that.
Also if I put it in the back where it meets the cat then the wires will be shorter and might not even require additional wires.

All obd-1 B series have the O2's right before collector on the exhaust manifold. Just put it there.
Also, it depends on what motor u have for the O2 wire(s) and what jumPer harness u buy as well. Some just resuse the original O2 signal wire.

You sir, are confused, wrong, and maybe you don't read so well.
I guess it could be just me, but I don't think so.
When I read the word STOCK it means STOCK.
When does STOCK mean B-series swap with two O2 sensors?

Depends on your conversion harness if it includes all 4 wires you cut off and remove your original 1 wire
Also: Can a get a quick Dizzy removal and reinstall writeup?
OK are you ready.
Step 1: Remove spark plug wires
Step 2: Remove the 3 12mm Dizzy mount bolts
Step 3: Pull the Dizzy out
Installation is reverse of removal.

^^^ Well said. I tryed to post a few minutes ago saying it depends on what jumper harness u get but it said "invalid post" for some reason.

I kind of read Jurassic Four past post.
But your right 4drEF I should have word it better. Since I saw that he has a B16 I made the remark about the O2 wires.

Yea... I guess I should have explained better. I have a B16. I also have a Del sol header already, and just have the stock obd0 o2 sensors unpugged. So I just bought a Denso O2 sensor for a 92-95 del sol to put in the bottom. Is it ok to leave them unplugged?
I bought a JDMshit harness, which comes with the wires for the new o2.
I also bought a td44 dizzy... that is right right? And do I have to have number 1 at TDC to remove and reinstall the dizzy's?

i wouldnt put the new O2 in the del sol header just yet. Install your old O2 in there for now to plug the hole. When u are ready to convert completely, then install the 4 wire one. No, u dont have to have the motor at TDC. Just unbolt the old dizzy, and slap on the new one. About the Td44...check http://www.distributorking.com and i think they have numbers on there.

Stock I have 2 o2 sensors on my B16.
....confusing, isn't it.

Back to topic... I just leave my B16's o2 Sensors unplugged... and just use the one o2 sesor down by the cat?

Doe sit run like that?
OBD-1 (at least D-series) has more teeth on the reluctor wheel.
It sends out more pulses to the ECU than the pre-OBD distributors.

Yes, all B16's have a knock sensor. Your conversion harness will come with a single wire to connect it to, just like it will have wires for your O2.

if your using a conversion harness that has wires for the new o2 then you shouldnt have a problem leaving the original ones unplugged. when i converted my car to obd-1 (did it myself, you learn more that way and know what to fix) the new o2 sensor utilized the old pinouts

Next question... I understand what to do with the service light swich thing. But why? will I get not check engine light when the swich is off?
Also: My new o2 sensor had a Blue/white and two black wires. My JDMshit.com directions said it should have had a White/green/ and two blacks. What is this? I just put blue to blue, white to white, and one black to one, and the other black to the last black. Will it damage anything if i guessed wrong. How will I konw if I guessed wrong?

Bump for the questions in the previous post.
Update. I have the all the vtec stuff wired... I wish they just made a harness that came with that stuff already pin to pin. It seems to me anybody going obd1 would have already spent the money on vtec. So I just have to swap dizzies now... which I am not looking forward to.

no it only grounds the wire when its switched on, letting you know what the code is.
