I was wondering how do you know if your VSS sensor is working?

 

What car/ecu do you have? Are you triggering a code? Is your speedo working?

I HAVE A 92 HATCH... ECU IS A HONDATA I HAD JUST PUT IT IN.. IT'S WEIRD THE CAR JUST DOESN'T MOVE WHEN I PUT IT IN TO 4 TH GEAR.. ( wHEN I'M GOING DOWN THE 1/4 MILE IT'S FINE UNTIL I PUT IT IN 4TH THE CAR DOESN'T TURN OFF, THE ENGINE KEEPS RUNNING IT'S JUST THAT IT DOESN'T MOVE... DO YOU THINK IT MIGHT BE THE VSS SENOR?

 

vss is vehicle speed sensor

and sounds like you broke 4th gear
