b18 rebuild, what parts to use
well ive finally gotten sick of the smoke pouring out of my car and decided to push myself to rebuild the b18 that i have(from a 90 ls). i called the local machine shop and got some decent prices for all the machine work. now all thats left is finding the parts and i wanted to get everybodys opinion on what brand. for now it going to be all motor but i might want to go turbo eventually(not for like 3-4 years).
crower, skunk2, JE, i need everything for this build, pistons, rods, springs, everything! anyhelp would be great
all i want is a V-8 killer!!!

bump, NEED HELP!!!
by the way, what i am really looking for out this car it a good reliable daily driver that i can beat on all day long. i don't want to be working on it more than driving it!

crower rods and springs/retainers, JE pistons. if you want to be a little more reliable... dont go all aftermarket and find some nice type R (not CTR) pistons. ARP connections all around or brand new OEM. i would also go with ferra valves and maybe skunk2 cams, but then again you could go CTR cams. its all about what money you have to work with and how much compression you want to run. CTRs will push your compression up and might cause some reliability issues. if you ever plan on going turbo you might just want to keep ITR pistons in there and not swap out pistons again once the b00st goes in.
well the motor has 215,XXX miles on it as it is and will probably need extensive machineing, probably going to bore .25mm over. i was thinking about crower cams and springs with shunk2 Ti retainers. for valves i wasn't sure (tell the truth i was hopeing not to replace them, HAHA yea right). for the bottom i was looking at the crower econo rods and ITR pistons it they don't raise compression, do they?
i told my boss all this(i work at an auto shop) and he said that he dosn't know if he would go with crower because they do primarly domestic apps. has anybody had any experience with them or know somebody who did?
i was looking at inlinefour.com and priceing stuff out abd it didn't look TO bad. at the moment i only have $1500 to work with but i will be makeing money all winter long, i will be working 33 hours a week while going to school full time. so its not a matter of IF i can get the money, its and matter of WHEN i can get the money.
