i have a idle issue, my idle jumps from 1200 to 1300 really fast. IACV you say? FITV you say? well ive checked and rechecked both and i know its not those. when i take my intake off and cover up my throttle body my car continues to run. even with the entire intake opening closed off i can slowly rev up to 8000 rpm. with that said i know im sucking in air somewhere. i took my mani off and replaced the gasket and all bolts are tight. all my injectors are sealed tightly also. i capped off all my vac nipples on my mani and the intake and still air is being drawn in, BUT WHERE FROM???? if anyone has ever had this problem or know how to fix it please any ideas are welcome. thanks in advance.

Or is it all the time?

 

all the time my friend, cold, warm, hot, it doest matter.

 

spray some carb cleaner around the hoses and when the motor bogs look into that area more.

when the vaccum leak sucks up carb cleaner it will bog the motor.

 

found it!!!!!!!! on the bottom of my mani there is a hidden vac line, i could see and and it was hooked to the mani, but it hooks up to a oil canister and it looks connected but it wasnt. thanks for the help, i love hondas!
