I don't know what it is, but it just started happening a few weeks ago, the car idles around 950-1000 rmps, after its heated up. Sometimes it'll go higher like 1500 and then back down to 950-1000. I think it might be the TPS, but it doesn't go up and down like that all the time. but it stays at 950, which the helms book says 700 +/- 50. So hit me up, let me know what you think.

 

try adjusting the idle screw on upper side of the throttle body, it uses a flat head screwdriver, if that doesn't help, spray "Air Intake Cleaner" into the intake while the car is running, be sure to use "Air Intake Cleaner" and NOT "Carboratuer (sp) Cleaner" the "Air Intake Cleaner" will clean out you IACV which could be part of the problem as well.
