Default This Is My IACV Right? Where The Chit Is This "screen" (1"30am, tired)

So I read that someone had the same problem as me with a hunting idle and all they did was remove the IACV and spray the screen and with carb cleaner and it resolved the problem.

WHen I take mine off and look for this "screen" but all I see is 2 dime size holes with what looks like a springs or something in it. I snapped a quick pic of the unit t make sure Im hacking the right thing.

well does this screen make a difference?

It still has the double o-ring rubber thing intact. Can I just put it back together?

I soaked it in carb cleaner and let it dry overnight

the screen probably wont help you..theres lots of info around about idle problems,do an archived search..do you have any vac leaks? when did the idle start to go bad? when was your last tune-up? did you get the right parts?

If its missing the screen, replace the whole thing. The screen catches and builds up with carbon. If its gone, the crap is probably all up inside the unit. U can probably get one from someone here for $20. I'd sell u one, but i dont wanna ship.
