I would say the 1st gen Talon/Ecplipse BOV is the best way to go. They are better than a lot of aftermarket BOV's. However, I don't know if you're asking which to get for your car or what? Every turbo application is different and may require something different.

Well, I'm going to be running about 20 psi through a t3/t4 on my built sohc zc. So I was just trying to find out what would be to most dependable (performance) bov. I agree that the dsm bov's are great but I don't think they could handle 20 psi.

I'm staring to lean towards a Greddy Type S or R bov. I'm not real sure what the difference between the two are yet but they seem to be what I'm looking for.

No, it can't properly handle 20psi. I heard that the Greddy type s/r is not worth the money.

The type R is built for higher boost levels than the type S. you should probably get the R. i don't know if its worth the money performance wise but the type S sounds incredible...

i dont know dude
they sound ok, not great, ( and yes they get the job done)
and if u go around DSM boards, u will find that its more and more that they find the stock BOV leaking

my neighbor has one on his turbo del sol, and its aight..
my cheap ebay TCC BOV sounds a hell lot better with this big swoosh

i say HKS SSQ BOV.....

Great BOV. You'll want something sequential with the boost level you are running.

friends of mne in the DSM community have reccomended denting the top of the dsm bov's.. it preloads the spring and helps reduce leakage... Also, z32's have nice recirculating valves that make a neat "honking" sound like a goose.
