I posted something similar a while ago, but it was very short notice, this time i've got some headsup for you ...we are once again going to Speed's indoor go-kart park in Columbus, OH, on Janurary 13th. Price is 55 a head, the karts are european-styple, and are quicker than your average family fun-park; indeed the Gs had me sore in no time If we get 30 people total, we can do an endurance race, which sounds wicked. Check out http://www.speeds.cc for more info.

I won't be around for that, but I am interested in meeting the Pittsburgh area R owners.... Maybe we could have some kind of meet? I'll be in town until 1/3.....

Scott,

I might actually be willing to take a train or something to participate. An enduro with you and D would be a nice way to kill a weekend.

Sadly, i don't think D can make it, he's gonna be heading back to florida around that time. Not 100 percent sure tho, maybe we can convince him to skip the early part of the semester...all they do is pass out syllabii, right? and i'm pretty sure that's not how you spell the plural of syllabus. Or if that's even how you spell syllabus.

I'm in!!! I would love to do the endurance event. Though I cant imagine being on the kart for 15 minutes or more at a time. the usual 7 or 8 beats you up pretty good.

The date will be 100 percent once our club president gets money from 10 people (i will be one of those people, no one here has to commit like that, just show up), which should be by the end of this month (probably sooner). I assume brooke is the bartendress? She was pretty damn hotz0r.

Aaah... I want to go!!!!... but.. but.. what time will it start/end?
Can't miss the Sunday Class.. hehe..

by the way.. after I put Arctic Alpins on for winter tires, this is what happened:
1.Spun at least twice in the rain when turning and braking hard..(this took my confident away from my R)
2.almost got a JDM front (like 2 feet away from the stupid Deer)..

I'll ask Rico to come.. and by the way, he sold his SI, got a brand new Prelude..
(Can't believe he didn't go for an R..tsk tsk)..

Yikes, sorry to hear about your adventures Piyo, that sucks...well, could have been worse...i'm surprised the car spun though, were you turning at the time? Although it hasn't exactly been snow-tire weather...your compound might be too soft in the 60 degree weather. And deer suck. It'll be pretty much an all-day affair, leave around 9:30, get home around 7 or 8 (it's a little less than 3 hours to columbus, depending on stops etc...probbaly 2.5 hours raw driving time at a good clip). Oh yeah, helmets are required, they have loaners, and if you have an open faced helmet you'll need some kind of eye protection (i got some oakley-looking safety glasses from home depot for 5 bucks, they're clear, fight close to the face, and worked like a charm.
