Civic Hood Lock
My 1993 civic has the standard inside hood release handle. I'd like to install another device that actually locks the hood to prevent someone from opening the hood without a key, for example. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks
That's a pretty good idea! However that is what breaking windows and tow trucks are for. If someone wants to steal something, it's pretty hard to keep them from it. Very unfortunate.

It does make the theif have to break the window and maybe set the alarm off before he could get into the hood to cut the power. If I were a thief I'd much rather just go thru the fender and pull the hood release than to smash a window and set the alarm off. It keeps away the amateurs at least.
