is a D16Z7 worthy of build ?
i've got killer plans for my D16.. then suddently a friend offered up his D16Z7 (with tranny) for $500..
it's an 01.. that's all i know about it, because i research what i have and what i want to do with what i have..
any worth here ?

There was no D16 in 2001. Only a D17. The D16Z7 was the non-EX 1996-2000 Civic motor. And as such, it is really nothing more than an OBDII D16A6.
