Default for u guys running msd 6al box

i put it in today and its it makes that buzzing noise well thats normal but its on my radios staions is there anything to block the noise from messing up my radio staion the box is inside the car behind the consule of the astray

I have a MSD 6AL on my 00 si... I dont here any buzzing noise... Are you sure the guys or you installed it correctly? Maybe the problem is something else...??? It might have something to do with where you mounted it... Try mounting it in your engine bay... That might fix it... Other than that, I can't tell you what to do... Good Luck though....

some one told me dont put it in ur engine bay it will get hot
its correct if u listen to the box its makes a little noise

if you have it mounted that close to your radio it will pick up engine noises. try relocating it to a remote location. you have to make sure you a GOOD metal on metal ground. that will also cause noise through your radio.

yep sounds like to me ur radio is picking up the noise created by the box due to a poor ground.
