Default Stoopid newbie qeustions...

OK, I've been wantin to get a new car, something to have fun with, cause the truck i have is used as a truck so I can't drop it like i wanted to, so I've been lookin into either a honda civic that I can play with and drag it. My first question would be since I'm 6'3" would it be comfortable to drive everyday? I've never driven my friends cars more than 15mins just drivin around. My second question is, is my friend right for sayin that a HB would be the best civic since it's in his words "the lightest, and made for performance." I know some people who dropped B18's in their civics and they are fast as hell, also what are the 1/4 mile times for a HB with a B18 in it, don't car what years cept not the 4th gen, too boxy.. JMO, thanks

There was a 5th gen hatch in my area that had a b18c, I/H/E and he was running 14.4's.

I'm 6'2" and I still have a few inches to spare in my EG. just look out for the Si with the moonroof. I think that cuts a couple of inches of headroom. I know in my 4th gen Si, I need to keep the moonroof shade open for headroom, but I think EF's have less headroom to begin with.

I think your best bet is a 5th gen hatch. slightly lighter and easier to do swaps. Plus it's cheaper than a 6th gen so you have more money for your swap.

I'm 6'1"
Get yerself a 92-95 SI (it is a hatch with a sunroof, incase someone tries to screw you over saying a VX is an SI) The SI will have the wiring for the B18C1 swap that you will want....and it already has four wheel disk brakes.
