is it ok to use gsr main caps or b20s? are they the same size? i searched but didnt find anything to informative. the set up is gunna be b20 block-gsr crank/rods, b20z pistons. but i found a b20 block with oiut mains and if i can find a set of gsr mains for cheap id like to use them. anybody know if they would fit?
Yes, they will fit, but you WILL have to get it align bored. Some people will offer and align hone, but this will not cut it with caps that don't match the block. Since you are local to us, we can align bore your block for you. Give us a call (909) 592 - 4311 ext. 104. Ask for Robert. He can get you the pricing on it!

ya haha wups i kinda forgot. anybody else have any info on this. gsr crank in a b20 block with b20 mains?
If you run the b20 maincaps it should work as all b-series main bearings are the same Just make sure u check all clearnces. If your using the gsr maincaps for the girdle or whatever u should have it aligned bored as golden eagle said.
shouldnt you align bore, whenever the caps arent the original ones off the block? regardless if its from the same engine code.
