GSR seats into a 200 civic dx
this is my second attempt to get answers.....if anyone has had experience putting gsr front and rear seats into a civic dx please share:
can i just swap the rails or will i need other rails?
will i have to fabricate brackets for the back seats because i know the attachment method is slightly different

Your thread is like right next to another one with a similar question.

The fronts will bolt right in, but only 3 of the 4 bolts will line up.. i only have 3 in mine and they're secure.
i have the backs, but haven't put them in.. but from what i've read they will go in, but there will be a small gap between the bottom and top pieces of the back.

if you don't want to swap the rails you can modify the gsr rails to fit all 4 bolts. takes a little time, but still quite simple. throw the seat in, bolt in the front 2 bolts, take a hammer or rubber mallet and bend down the outside rear rail to align with the hole. the inside rear rails need to be cut slightly with a hacksaw. take the seat out and hack off the end rail right past the little nub. i would not recommend riding with only 3 bolts in your seat, the inside rear bolt is the most load bearing if you get into an accident. you want to cut enough of the rail off so that it just ends right after the bolt hole in the floor. then find a large heavy duty wash and put it in between the bolt on the rail, the washer will hold the end of the rail down as the bolt if tightened.

You have to swap the skins and foam and keep the original seat skeletons its easy just.
