Default 2000 civic ex radiator fan won't turn on

radiator fan won't turn on. i have changed the auxiliary fan switch and nothing. i have changed the thermostat and still not working. i have jumped the fan motor with the battery and it turns over so i know the fan worked. i don't know how to check the relays so any info would be great. also we have let the car run for several minutes. the temperature increases from old but doesn't increase any after hitting normal operating temperature. help!

yeah checked the fuse... someone told me that air in the cooling system can cause the fan to not turn on and that bleeding the air out of the cooling system will help.

Sounds like the relay. I had the same problem with my 96EX just borrow one from someone with a civic to double check. My problem was that ants went inside of it and took some dirt with them so you can try takin it out and tapping it on a table or something and see if any dirt or anything comes out.

Sounds like a relay. Under the hood is a compartment containing relays. One for the auxillary fan and one for the condenser fan. You can turn the car and make sure it is up to temp and tap t he relays to see of the fan comes one. the condenser fan should come on when the ac is turned on.

Could be the relay but don't count on it being that. If it's not the relay check fan switch.

guys please read the post... i already said that i put in a new thermostat and fan switch (sensor on thermostat housing). i'm gonna try changing the relay and see what happens. i did change it with the condenser fan relay since there's no ac and still doesn't kick in. anyone else.
