I have a manual 98 honda cp sohc f23a1 v-tec i have both lights on (CEL,and maitenance required) its a stock engine whats the problem? services were just updated a month ago at 103k miles ,im lost. also whats the best swap for this engine? anyones opinion helps thx.

 

Maintenance light is just a reminder based on mileage. To reset it, turn the car off. Press the odometer-reset button, & hold it while you turn the ignition on. After several seconds the reminder light goes off.

Check-engine light can be anything. Have AutoZone plug in their reader & tell you the code #.

 

i guess i learn something new everyday, thx im sure ill be back on with the engine code thats making the CEL come on and tips to fix it. thx alot
